TaxPower GST and Greenote: which does what

Desktop GST return software from Nagpur: GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B preparation and filing, GST billing and e-invoice upload. It files returns today, which Greenote does not.

TaxPower GST and Greenote do different halves of the same month, and the fair way to compare them is to say which half each one does. TaxPower is filing software: it prepares GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, validates them and files them, and it raises invoices and uploads e-invoices as well. Greenote does not file a return in any plan today.

What Greenote does is the work before the return: getting the bank entries and bills into Tally, matching the 2B to the purchase register, catching the mistakes in GSTR-1 and working out the 3B figure. Many practices will want both. If you must pick one and your need is to file, pick the one that files.

Who TaxPower GST suits

  • A CA or tax consultant who wants GST returns filed from desktop software.

  • A business that also wants GST billing and e-invoice upload from the same product.

  • A practice that will add their TDS product and wants one vendor for both.
